| Conceived and produced 4 Guys Named José from its inception and Associate Produced
the commercial Off Broadway run. The Original Cast Recording
is released on DRG Records and the show has recently completed a
successful engagement in Miami with the Actor's Playhouse at the Miracle Theatre and is now available
for license with Music Theatre
International. He
also conceived and produced Blackbirds of
Broadway which has been mounted by 10 regional
theatres and two European tours. From lighting designer to general manager, from booking agent to producer, David has enjoyed a far-reaching career in the world of international theatre. Beginning his career as a lighting designer, one of his earlier works included lighting the Caracas Ballet's rendition of Giselle staring Rudolph Nureyev. What followed was over two decades in the field of managing and booking international theatrical tours working with international productions of; Grease, Queen Esther Marrow and The Harlem Gospel Singers, Dancers and Musicians of Bali, Ain't Misbehavin', The Grand Kabuki, Ballet Folklorico de Chile, Antologia de la Zarzuela, One Mo' Time, Ballet Folklorico de Mexico, National Dance Company of Senegal and Die Schone und Das Biest. These shows have taken him to Broadway, Paris, London's West End, and just about every major city in the world. He has also been associated with Broadway productions of Black and Blue, Tango Argentino, Flamenco Puro, Wonderhouse, Tango Passion. As an international booking agent, David has placed A Chorus Line and Sound of Music in Korea; European tours of Spellbound and My One and Only; as well as A Magic Night In America in Moscow and Africa Oye! in Taiwan and Hong Kong. |
